In 2019 I went live on Facebook with a phone on a tripod and a stack of Pokémon packs, and a handful of people watched. Whatnot did not exist yet. Live card selling did not have a name yet, or a platform, or anyone to copy. I kept going anyway, and when Whatnot came along I was one of the first Pokémon streamers on it. In July 2024 I stepped away from streaming for a while, and in September 2026 I came back with Bid With Bailey.
Years on camera taught me two things, and they are the whole business: never run out of product, and never make a buyer wait. United Card Exchange is those two rules turned into a company. My own show is Bid With Bailey, live at 8PM ET on Whatnot: Pokémon sealed and breaks, and every order ships from the UCX warehouse after the stream. The independent streamer program exists so a creator can go live with the same product and the same back end behind them, instead of building all of it from scratch the way I had to.
