Sealed market pulse

What sealed product did in the last 24 hours.

Every number on this page comes off the live TCGplayer feed through TCG Study, our own research desk, and re-runs every night. We publish it because we price the market before we sell into it, and because a seller who will not show you the market is asking you to take their word for it.

How to read this

Breadth beats headlines. One product up 16% is noise. Four hundred products up while two hundred fall is a market. The advancing share at the top is the number worth watching. It says what the whole board did, before any single item gets to be interesting.

Live prices only. The desk also carries estimated and historical closes, some of them enormous. A sealed vintage box that last changed hands at six figures is a real number, but it is not what that box costs today, so nothing on this page mixes the two.

MSRP distance is context, not a signal. A booster pack that retailed at four dollars in 2006 trading at two thousand tells you about scarcity and time, not about what happens next week.

A listing is an ask; a sale is a fact. TCG Study labels which price points are verified sales rather than asking prices, and does not guess at the rest.

Why a card seller runs a research desk

Because the alternative is guessing. We buy collections and stock product every day of the year, and every one of those decisions is a price decision. Building UCE's pricing on published, auditable data rather than instinct is the difference between a business and a hobby that took on inventory.

It is public for the same reason. If we are going to sell to you live, you should be able to check the number yourself first.
