What we have actually checked, what we know is not right yet, and how to tell us.

Under review. Not yet in effect.

This is a working draft being reviewed before it is adopted. Nothing on this page is a binding term today, and no part of the site asks you to agree to it. When it is in effect this notice is replaced by a date.

Published while it is still a draft on purpose: it is better that you can read where the terms are heading than that the page sits behind a login until the day it binds you.

01Our commitment

We want every buyer and streamer to be able to use this site regardless of ability or the technology they use. Where that is not true today we would rather list it below than leave you to discover it.

02What we are aiming at

WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the target: semantic structure, keyboard operability, visible focus, and sufficient colour contrast. Target, not a claim of conformance. We have not had an independent audit and we do not claim to conform until we have.

03How this was assessed

By self-assessment, alongside an automated crawl of every page on the site that checks for missing alternative text, controls with no accessible name, inputs without a label, missing or duplicated page titles, and skipped heading levels. The crawl runs before every release and has to come back clean. It is not a substitute for testing with a screen reader and real users, which has not been done.

04Scope

Everything on unitedcardexchange.com. It does not cover the streaming platforms, which are not ours.

05Motion and animation

Every animation on this site respects the reduced-motion preference in your operating system or browser, including the scroll effects, the pointer lighting, the hero, and the market charts. Turning that preference on removes the motion rather than merely shortening it.

06Known limitations

The map of our planned rooms is a decorative diagram; every city on it is also a plain link and a text list, so nothing on it is the only route to anything. The animated background in the hero is decoration and is hidden from screen readers. The weekly schedule is a data table read left to right and is easier with a screen reader in table mode. Live streams are hosted on third-party platforms whose captioning and accessibility features we do not control.

07Telling us about a barrier

Use the contact form at unitedcardexchange.com/contact, which is a short form with labelled fields, or reply to any email from us. If the form itself is the barrier, that is the most useful thing you could possibly tell us, and any route you can find to reach us is a valid one. There is no deadline on this and no ticket number: we will work on a fix and, where a fix will take time, tell you the workaround.
